Rise, Shine & Sip: The Story Behind Coffee Traders’ New Branding


We’re so excited to introduce a fresh chapter for Coffee Traders—our new branding. While our café, coffee, and community spirit remain the same, our new look better captures the warmth, energy, and connection that make us who we are.


The Logo: A Cup of Sunshine

At the heart of our new design is a simple but powerful symbol: two half circles. These shapes represent both a cup of coffee and the rising sun.


  • 🌞 The Sun: A reminder of mornings in Cochrane, where the first sip of coffee brings light and energy to the day.

  • The Cup: Our daily ritual of sharing coffee with friends, family, and neighbours.

  • Together: It’s “rise and shine” in a single mark, your daily cup full of sunshine.


This clean, modern design reflects our belief that coffee isn’t just a drink—it’s a daily moment of joy.

We wanted to honor our history too. That’s why we’ve kept our beloved carafe illustration, a nod to the early days of Coffee Traders. It’s a reminder that while we’re embracing the future, our story and traditions remain close to our hearts.


A Beautiful New Font

You’ll also notice our refreshed typography. The new font feels warm, approachable, and contemporary, just like our café. It pairs beautifully with the logo, creating a look that’s both fresh and timeless.

We’re still the same team, serving the same coffee you love, in the same cozy space that’s been a part of the community for years.
